  My parents were members of the Peniel UMC, Brazil, Indiana, before I was born. I grew up in this church, having grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and siblings all there, every Sunday. Well time has passed, I married, left this church to join my husband's church, raised my kids in the other religion, as did many of the other young people of Peniel. Now I am older, and have returned to the this little country church that still holds the charm and warm welcome that I remember from those many years ago. The problem is there are only a few young people attending this church. As a returning member, I am one of many who understands we must develop some new ways to bring new families to Peniel. Ways that will allow other kids to be able to build their own memories, memories that can be shared with thier children years from now. I look forward to working with other members of the Peniel United Methodist Church in Brazil, Indiana - to rebuild our churches foundation!
